A 2067 (Heavenly Stems Remix)

A 3 track electronic single (20m 54s) — released July 22nd 2022 on Algebra Records

The first remix from the upcoming remix album of Casually Here's acclaimed 'Possible Worlds' from wizard and fellow Algebra Records artist Heavenly Stems. Heavenly Stems' huge remix of 'A 2067' flips the AI dystopian tone of the original into exuberant end of days euphoria with brilliant sound design, rhythms and roiling energy.

"It's the first remix that anyone had done of my solo Casually Here tracks and I was completely blown away by it when Ben sent it over. It's a really phenomenal, powerful piece of electronic music with a bit of lightning-in-a-bottle magic to it. It's thrilling hearing all the sounds of the original flipped and expanded in such a creative way." Casually Here

Casually Here (Nic Nell) is a multidisciplinary artist, composer, sound designer & record producer with a background in art & mathematics. His ambitious, widescreen second album 'Possible Worlds' explores bifurcating possible futures at this precarious point in history, all whilst maintaining an innate sense of optimism which garnered print features and support from publications like DJ Mag, Future Music, Electronic Sound, Uncut etc alongside support from artists/DJs like Bonobo and Sasha.

London based Heavenly Stems is the solo project of electronic producer Ben Rimmer, founding member and producer of Oxford band Trophy Wife. Following a remix of Lake Turner (Algebra/Kompakt)'s he released his two debut EPs Florals and Shell as two sides of a green 12" on Algebra Records in 2021. This marks the first new music from Ben since his remix of Orlando Weeks' (ex The Maccabees) 'Deep Down Way Out' for [PIAS] and Emma-Kate Matthews' 'Go With You' for Algebra, ahead of his upcoming debut album.

Lake Turner, Art School Girlfriend, JQ from Forgiveness and Sami El-Enany are also confirmed for the remix album and we have an upcoming London album launch / label show on the 1st of September at Fa*de Soundspace we're about to announce with live sets from Casually Here, Heavenly Stems and Sami El-Enany.

'Possible Worlds' is out now on Algebra Records on limited edition clear and black vinyl and digital.
